Econlockhatchee Floods! SUP trials in Little Econlockhatchee wilderness reserve.

Published by in SUP on October 9th, 2011

The Econlockhatchee River is rising a at about 2″-4″ inches an hour and still rising as a new band of rain moves in. I took the SUP board out today to explore the it has flooded over the banks by more than 10′ at this time so the river has gone from 20′-40′ wide to miles wide now. Tomorrow I plan to gps how much flooding has happened. Distance between shores. So here some pics of todays adventure and what is looked like a few days ago. More to come.
